The abaya naqab is our longer black face veil, made to complete an abaya and hijab look. It falls 10 to 12 inches over the face, so it covers well below the chin and sits neatly over the neckline of your abaya.

How to wear and care for it

Wearing it with your abaya

Put on a hijab under cap, then your hijab. Place the veil across the bridge of the nose and fasten it at the back of the head.

Let the lower edge fall over the neckline of your abaya. This hides the join and gives a clean, finished look in photos too.

Care

Check the care label before washing. Black fabrics generally keep their colour longest with a gentle cold-water hand wash, dried flat in the shade.

Iron on a low setting if needed. Store it folded with your hijabs so it is easy to find.
