How to wear and care for your nose piece

Putting it on

Start with a hijab under cap so your hair stays covered, then wrap your hijab as usual. Place the veil across the bridge of your nose and tie the strings at the back of your head.

You can tie the knot under the hijab for a hidden finish, or over it if you take the veil on and off often. Keep the knot firm but not tight, so the fabric rests on the face without pressing.

Care

Check the care label before washing. As a general rule, black fabrics keep their colour longer when hand washed in cold water and dried in the shade.

Avoid wringing it hard. Smooth it flat while damp and it will dry without creases.
